Dear friends,
My name is Craig Turner. It’s my first week as president of FlexCold, and I could not be more humbled and excited to lead and serve the FlexCold organization.
I first would like to thank the FlexCold leadership team for their confidence, support, and vision. It is my honor and privilege to continue to build on the foundation laid by the late Vernon Rose and team.
When I was approached by FlexCold, I was intrigued and empowered by what inspires me most: a commitment to people. Technology and innovation are essential to serve our clients. Still, it is an exceptional organization that starts with its commitment to humbly be the best partner to its team, clients, and the community—which is at the heart of our founding partners.
The passion and dedication of the FlexCold team were readily apparent, along with a clear vision. We have a tagline, “We Understand.” It’s essential to zero in on what FlexCold can uniquely contribute to the cold chain industry. We are building a highly modern warehouse and infrastructure along with a uniquely personal experience that truly understands our clients’ diverse needs. Many companies aspire to provide an exceptional experience, but few have the elements necessary: Industry best talent, customer-centric focus, and people-centered values. FlexCold has all three in abundance.
To FlexCold, I bring over two decades of cold storage warehouse and supply chain leadership with my most recent role as vice president of distribution at Moran Foods. I oversaw 13 distribution centers and more than 1,000 employees. I am genuinely excited and energized to help bring the FlexCold vision to life and be the best partner to our team, clients, and community. I couldn’t ask for a better foundation to build on.
Let me close by thanking you. As FlexCold is heading toward its first opening this summer, we understand you are trusting us with your business. That is a responsibility that our team at FlexCold and I do not take lightly. Our goal is to provide you with a model that’s predictable, flexible, and repeatable.
